Wings for Wishes: A Record-Breaking Fundraiser in South Miami
In South Miami, the annual Wings for Wishes event has once again brought together the community for a day of fun, food, and philanthropy. Now in its 11th year, this event attracted approximately 2,000 attendees eager to partake in a spirited wing-eating contest.

This year, WSVN once more participated in the wing-eating competition, successfully defending its title for the third consecutive year. The main aim of the event is to raise funds for Make-A-Wish Southern Florida, an organization dedicated to granting wishes for children with critical illnesses.
Record-Breaking Contributions
The Wings for Wishes event achieved a significant milestone by generating around $430,000 in donations, the highest amount ever raised in the event’s history. This remarkable sum will enable the granting of 86 wishes, providing joyous experiences for children and their families during challenging times.
