Palm Beach County, Florida—In a tragic incident early Saturday morning, a Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office (PBSO) deputy shot and killed a 20-year-old suspect, Alfonzo Riser, after he reportedly fatally stabbed his father.

Deputies responded to an emergency call around 3 a.m. regarding an armed domestic dispute at a residence located in the 6400 block of Emerald Dunes Drive. Upon arrival, officers encountered Alfonzo Riser attacking his father, Tyrone Riser, 52, with a sword.
