Why not combine it with live orchestral music? Then there’s the Holiday Festival of Lights.
Michael Rossi, Founder of the Miami Beach Classical Music Festival: “The orchestra will be performing with a full symphony orchestra. During that time, the projections will be timed to the music, lighting up the entire street. All buildings. turns into frost and ice.”
The interactive light and sound extravaganza begins at South Beach’s premier Betsy Hotel.
Michael Rossi: “We’re just one of the iconic hotels here in Miami Beach, and we’re very passionate about the arts. We just looked around and thought, ‘This is the perfect place to have a festival of lights. “I guess so,” I thought. We got a park, good people viewing, high traffic areas, beautiful art deco buildings. ”
For the second year, the breathtaking show will be held in the 1400 block of Ocean Drive.
Michael Rossi: “Families can sit in the park or sit on the curb. If you want to be up close to the stage and the action, you can reserve VIP seating. They often snow.”
There are new additions to feast your eyes on…
Michael Rossi: “This year it’s going to be even bigger. Now we’ve added a Christmas tree, we’ve got vendors, we’ve got more characters and an orchestra. And it’s going to be longer. It’s going to be a full six days.”
And the playlist is all bangers.
Michael Rossi: “There’s the famous ‘Carol of the Bells’ played by an electric violinist, which is great. That’s how the show starts. There’s ‘You’re Mean, Mr. Grinch.’ This year we have something new. It’s a digital Santa. He can talk to children and ask them what they want for Christmas. And he might just show up and say hello at the end of each show before heading back to the North Pole. ”
Music and lights dance like sugar plums on top of buildings starting Friday night.
