MIAMI GARDENS, Fla. (WSVN) – Authorities say they have arrested two people who killed a mother and daughter on Florida’s Broward County Turnpike earlier this year.
Antwon Harris, 28, was arrested Friday in Miami Gardens, according to the Broward Sheriff’s Office.
The other suspect, identified as 29-year-old Jaquan Thomas, is in jail in Georgia on unrelated charges, according to investigators. He will be extradited to Broward County.
Authorities say the pair fired shots at another car traveling north on the Turnpike near Hollywood Boulevard in June.
Detectives said Beatrice Saintville and her 4-year-old daughter Janelle were hit by bullets. Neither survived.
