Star Studded Biopics, Big Crowd Pleasers, And Awards Season Hopefuls Hit

Everyone is looking forward to receiving their presents in December. Some are under the Christmas tree, while others are displayed on screens of various sizes. Go out in style in 2024 with some memorable movies. Here’s a bunch of them.

John Kani (Rafiki, voice): “Long before they became legends, Mufasa and the prince who became known as Scar became brothers.”

Talk about a mane event. Mufasa: The Lion King follows the story of this cool cat from orphan to king of the Pride Lands.

Oscar winner Barry Jenkins of Miami directed the film. Way to go, Barry! Let me hear your roar.

Nicholas Hoult (Bob Matthews): “In every revolution, someone has to fire the first gun.”

Please turn it into cash if possible. Police can’t figure out who’s responsible for numerous bank robberies in the Pacific Northwest, but Jude Law has an idea.

He believes the culprit is a domestic terrorist organization. That’s the gist of “The Order.”

Adrian Rose White (Sally): “Don’t you just love being home with him all the time?”

Amy Adams (mother): “Yes, yes, I love it.”

“Night Bitch” please. This black comedy depicts Amy Adams’ antics as a housewife.

When Amy is stuck at home with her kids, she almost loses her identity, so she sometimes turns into a dog. It’s probably based on a true story.

Eric Berryman (Tom Wilson): “Who wrote this?”

Dan Fogler (Albert Grossman): “He did.”

Bob is your uncle. He’s also a great singer.

That’s why Timothée Chalamet plays Bob Dylan in Completely Unknown. This biopic is about the singer’s rise to fame.

Michael Peña (Coach Bobby Williams): “Why do you wrestle?”

Jharrel Jerome (Antiny Robles): “For some people, the first thing they see is what’s missing?”

“Unstoppable” is the true story of wrestler Anthony Robles. He was born with one leg, but that did not prevent him from becoming a champion wrestler.

Jennifer Lopez stars as the mother, and she produced the film along with her soon-to-be ex-boyfriend Ben Affleck and Matt Damon.

Oh baby. There’s a lot going on in “Babygirl.”

Nicole Kidman has an affair with a young intern played by Harris Dickinson, who loves to push her limits in sex games.

James Marsden (Tom Wachowski): “Sonic, you’ve finally found your family.”

Sonic the Hedgehog 3 reunites Sonic, Knuckles, and Tails to protect Earth from the Shadow.

If you understand all these names, you’ll earn a Deco Gold Star. Oh, and Idris Elba, Keanu Reeves, and Jim Carrey are in the movie.

Ben Schwartz (voice of Sonic): “What did you do?”

Keanu Reeves (voice of Shadow): “What I had to do.”
