POMPANO BEACH, Fla. (WSVN) – A car was found stuck in a canal in Pompano Beach Saturday morning.
Shortly before 3:30 a.m., the Broward County Regional Communications Department responded to a report of a vehicle accident in the area of Northwest 8th Avenue and Center Pot Circle.
BSO deputies and Pompano Beach Fire Rescue attempted to pull the vehicle from the water after a preliminary investigation determined the driver was able to safely escape.
BSO’s dive team responded and is working to remove the vehicle from the canal.
