Shooting Incident in Southwest Miami-Dade: One Suspect Dead, Two Hospitalized
In Southwest Miami-Dade, a shooting incident on Thursday resulted in the death of the suspected shooter, while two other individuals are currently receiving treatment in a local hospital. The incident took place around 1 p.m. in a warehouse located in the 7300 block of Southwest 45th Street, near the intersection of the Palmetto Expressway and Bird Road.

According to Miami-Dade Sheriff Rosie Cordero-Stutz, emergency services swiftly transported the three individuals, including the shooter, to HCA Florida Kendall Hospital. Unfortunately, the shooter was pronounced dead shortly after arriving at the facility. As of now, the conditions of the two victims remain unclear.
Law Enforcement Response
Multiple law enforcement agencies, including the Miami-Dade Police Department’s Special Response Team, responded to the scene alongside the Miami-Dade Sheriff’s Office and the Florida Highway Patrol. Aerial footage captured by 7Skyforce depicted a significant police presence, with several individuals being escorted from the building with their hands raised, indicative of a controlled evacuation.
