FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. (WSVN) – One person was taken to the hospital after being shot in Fort Lauderdale.
Fort Lauderdale police arrived at the scene near the 1000 block of Northwest 53rd Street Friday morning.
Police said when officers arrived at the scene, they were unable to find the victim.
During the investigation, officers located the victim at Holy Cross Health, located at 4725 N. Federal Highway. The victim, a man, was taken to Broward Health Medical Center on a trauma alert.
The victim suffered minor, but non-life-threatening injuries.
The shooting incident is currently under investigation.
