TAMARAC, Fla. (WSVN) – A man was shot and killed on New Year’s Day in Tamarac, and authorities are investigating the circumstances of the incident.
BSO received a call about a domestic disturbance in the 8900 block of 78th Avenue NW on Wednesday around 6 p.m. Broward Sheriff’s Office deputies were on the way and the call was changed to shots fired.
Upon arrival, officers found Charles Mowry, 44, of Southwest Ranch, suffering from a gunshot wound. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
BSO said a woman, whose identity has not been released, is in authorities’ custody and is cooperating with the investigation.
