Man Faces Federal Stalking Charges After Allegedly Threatening Aipac Office

PLANTATION, Fla. (WSVN) – A Gainesville man has been arrested after allegedly threatening to attack a pro-Israel group.

Forrest Pemberton is facing federal stalking charges.

Prosecutors said Pemberton, 26, intended to “kill, injure, harass and intimidate” staff working at the local office of the American Israel Public Affairs Committee.

Officials said the suspect went to the plantation to spy on the office and later returned with three concealed weapons intended to target people working there.

The FBI tracked him down in Tallahassee and arrested him on the first day of Hanukkah.
