Investigation underway after crash involving police in Hollywood

HOLLYWOOD, Fla. (WSVN) – Police are investigating a police-involved crash that occurred Saturday morning.

The incident occurred on US-1 just south of Washington.

The driver said he was about to make a U-turn when he felt the impact and heard the police car’s siren.

“It all happened very quickly. By the time I heard the sirens and turned around, I had already hit the side of the car,” the driver said.

Authorities soon arrived at the scene and began an investigation.

No injuries were reported.
