The concept behind Eros Bodyworks came from the personal journeys of its founders. Jaime Gonzales spent over a decade in corporate commercial property management before realizing that the stress of the industry and years of putting his health on the back burner had taken a toll. Leaving the corporate world, he pursued massage therapy and found his true calling.
Kurt Stradtman, FDNP, spent more than a decade in marketing and became burned out early in his career but persevered. He transitioned into holistic health, becoming a board-certified integrative health practitioner, licensed esthetician, and educator who trains other practitioners on how to read and interpret functional lab testing. Together, the founders brought complementary skills and a shared vision to create a wellness space that redefines how men experience self-care.
Why Eros and Why a Men’s Spa
The name Eros Bodyworks carries personal significance for Jaime as it is a family name. It also playfully reflects their beginnings as a massage-focused business since Eros is “sore” spelled backward. Even as the spa expanded beyond massage, the name stuck, and today it has become synonymous with approachable luxury and elevated men’s wellness in Central Florida.
The choice to focus on men’s health was intentional. Jaime explains, “When I was working through my own corporate burnout, I realized how uncomfortable I felt in the typical spa; bright, perfumy, and not designed for men. We wanted to create something different.”
