FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. (WSVN) – An investigation is underway after a woman was stabbed by a subject and possibly hit by a car in Fort Lauderdale, police said.
Fort Lauderdale police arrived at the scene in the 2900 block of Southwest 13th Avenue Wednesday morning.
When the victim was found, police said her injuries were consistent with a stab wound and that she may have been struck by the subject’s vehicle.
The woman was taken to Broward Health Medical Center with life-threatening injuries.
Her identity has not been disclosed.
Neighbors described the scene off camera as graphic.
Surveillance video obtained by 7News shows the subject’s vehicle, a dark SUV, fleeing the scene.
Police are currently investigating the relationship between the victim and the subject.
Officials said no arrests have been made but they are not searching for anyone at this time.
