Senator Martin remarked, “There was a lot of room for improvement on the program.” He has since supported the creation of a bill that seeks to establish stricter oversight of contractors involved in the PACE program. “Hopefully the individuals that are the bad apples or the bad contractors either straighten up… or they will be held accountable.” This proposed legislation is anticipated to receive the governor’s signature next month.
