Miami Music Week 2025 promises to be a spectacular celebration for electronic dance music enthusiasts, showcasing a series of electrifying events across the vibrant city. The festival gets underway at some of the hottest venues in Miami, providing a dynamic atmosphere that is set to elevate the South Beach party scene.
Rooftop Beats at The Clevelander
The Clevelander South Beach, a renowned hotspot, is gearing up for an action-packed schedule. The festivities kick off in the evening, transforming the rooftop into a dance haven. Guests can expect a lineup that includes an array of laser shows and jaw-dropping geysers, adding a unique twist to the entertainment experience.
According to Jermaine Jordan, the area’s sales and marketing representative, “This year too we definitely took our entertainment to another level. We brought in some geysers, we brought some lasers. So we’ll be doing some laser shows at our events as well on the pool patio.” He emphasized the venue’s commitment to offering a comprehensive range of parties throughout the week, with 18 events planned across five days. Each day is packed with both daytime and nighttime pool parties, providing nonstop excitement for attendees.
Grooving to New Sounds
Local DJ, Please and Thank You, will bring an upbeat vibe to the rooftop pool deck, promising a memorable experience under the Miami sun. Another DJ, Tommy Leas, expressed his anticipation: “Great views overlooking Miami Beach and outdoors sunny-type afternoon vibe so yeah really excited.” His set will feature a mix of new and unreleased tracks that explore themes centered around light, showcasing a blend of synthesizers along with organic elements like piano and guitar.
1-800-Lucky: A Culinary and Musical Fusion
In the Wynwood area, 1-800-Lucky will also be hosting exciting parties, creating a distinct vibe that combines music with a flourishing culinary scene. As Sven Vogtland mentioned, “Every year we do change out our food vendors on 1-800-Lucky. This year we’re happy to have them back.” The venue will feature new cuisine offerings, alongside a series of “Free with RSVP” events scheduled from Wednesday to Sunday, ensuring that there’s something for everyone.
Headlining Acts and Thematic Events
On Saturday, Gary Richards, known as Destructo, will be headlining one of the key events. Richards described his approach: “I like to say sometimes that I’m DJing the DJs, so creating a whole night, I think we go 9-3. In the beginning, maybe you’re eating and bobbing your head a little, and as you finish your meal you move on. You kind of want to get up and get on the dancefloor a little bit and midnight one o’clock hands in the air people are going.” This perfectly encapsulates the vibrant atmosphere that Miami Music Week is known for.
