Crews put out a fire at a vacant house in Miami-Dade, S.C.

MIAMI-DADE, Southwest Florida (WSVN) – A home in southwest Miami-Dade is engulfed in flames.

Miami-Dade Fire Rescue responded to the scene of a fire near Southwest 254th Street and South Dixie Highway Saturday afternoon.

Cellphone video showed the house engulfed in flames and thick black smoke billowing out.

Firefighters said no one was inside at the time.

The fire scorched the house and left a large hole in the roof.

The cause is still under investigation.
