Shooting Incident in Pompano Beach Results in One Fatality
POMPANO BEACH, FLA. — Authorities in Broward County are currently investigating a shooting that occurred late Thursday night, resulting in one man’s death and another individual hospitalized with injuries.
Incident Overview
The Broward Sheriff’s Office reported that deputies were dispatched to the 3200 block of Northeast First Avenue shortly after 10:30 p.m. following multiple reports of gunfire in the area.
Victims’ Condition
Upon their arrival, law enforcement discovered 25-year-old Jacarey Love suffering from a gunshot wound. Despite attempts at administering life-saving measures on the scene, Love was transported to a local hospital where he was later pronounced dead.
A second male victim was also shot during the incident. His injuries were reported to be non-life-threatening, and authorities have chosen not to disclose his identity at this time.
