305 gets even hotter. It’s impossible, right? Wrong!
Miami Art Week is here. It’s a place where art, fashion, and great things all collide. Deco spoke to some of the designers taking over Magic City at this year’s event.
Art Hearts Fashion is back at Art Basel, baby! And this year, we’re hosting our event at the Gale Hotel. Let’s just say it’s hotter than a sunburn on vacation. It was quite hot.
Eric Roste: “We developed this app to explore art and fashion and celebrate the world of fashion and the world of art, photography, videography and content creation. It’s all part of what we do in fashion.”
We’re talking runway shows, exclusive pop-ups, and parties that will make you want to quit your day job and become a full-time fashionista.
Eric Roste: “We actually hand-pick very artistic designers from all over the world, and we also have sexy local Miami designers. What we want to do is offer a mix of everything. So when you come to our event, you get the whole experience. I also have a brand called Mr. Triple X.”
Speaking of Mr. Triple X, there are some bold items, so why settle for basics?
Eric Roste: “This is a complete satire, so expect really cool costumes, really cool haute couture, and beautiful people.”
Yeah! And it’s not for the faint of heart. You’ll see designs that scream, “I’m here!”
Meryl Streep (as Miranda Priestly): “And you have no style or fashion sense.”
Anne Hathaway (as Andrea Sachs): “I guess it depends on what you are…”
Meryl Streep (as Miranda Priestly): “No, no.”
One brand that is also ready to turn heads at Art Hearts fashion events is Berry Beachy Swimwear.
Melanie Gonzalez: “Very Beachy was born about six years ago. I wanted to fulfill my passion for fashion.”
This adorable couple will literally charm you. Expect a vibrant and energetic color palette.
Robert Gonzalez: “This year it’s the same vibe, very colorful, but since it’s Art Basel, we worked with an artist who did the body painting on the models before they put on the bikinis.”
Melanie Gonzalez: “When you come up with a piece and out of nowhere you see it actually being put on a body and you actually see how people love it, it’s a really great feeling. It will be.”
Robert Gonzalez: “And we have to give a huge thank you to Art Hertz, because we had our first runway show together with Art Hertz.”
So this week, forget about desk jobs. It’s time to do something a little more exciting.
Eric Roste: “The creative side is a beautiful thing and you don’t always have to focus on the 9-to-5. Come enjoy something different with us.”
Art Hearts Fashion will run until December 8th.
