MIAMI (AP) – Bam Adebayo scored 17 of his 23 points in the second half and the Miami Heat ended a three-game skid with a 110-95 win over the Brooklyn Nets on Monday night.
Nikola Jovic scored 18 points and Tyler Herro added 17 points and 12 rebounds for the Heat, who held their opponents under 100 points and improved to 7-0. Miami’s Duncan Robinson scored 17 points on 5 of 10 3-point shots.
Cam Johnson and Noah Clowney each scored 19 points for Brooklyn. Keon Johnson finished with 15 points and Tyrese Martin had 14 points for the Nets.
Brooklyn ended the first half on a 17-6 run, cutting the deficit to one point at halftime. The Heat defeated the Nets 52-38 in the second half.
Heat star forward Jimmy Butler missed his second straight game due to a stomach illness. Miami reserve guard Drew Smith left the game early in the second quarter with a lower left foot injury and did not return.

Nets: Brooklyn is 2-8 since posting a season-high three-game winning streak in November. Six of the losses were by double digits, two of which were by 25 points or more.
