PEMBROKE PARK, Fla. (WSVN) – South Florida Kia dealerships teamed up with JM Family Enterprises, Miami Dolphins and Miami Heat to provide $380,000 in donations towards “Feeding South Florida” .
The group also appealed to the public for assistance.
“If you’re interested in coming out here and volunteering, packing boxes, preparing for the elderly, preparing for families, come join us and help pack this food. , come and organize for the community,” Rita said. Mr. Chase is President and CEO of Rick Chase Automotive Group.
This funding continues the mission of “Feeding South Florida” to provide people with immediate access to nutritious food.
The money will also be used for hunger and poverty relief activities.
