Miami Lgbtq+ Festival Inspires 4 Days Of Non Stop Music And

You probably know the popular saying. “On Thanksgiving, devour until you stagger.” But after a fair amount of staggering, it’s time to move and groom yourself…and what better way to work up a sweat at a Turkey Day feast than with a little dancing? Deco’s resident dancer Alex Miranda will also be making an appearance.

Throw a gay party on any beach, not to mention a sexy party on South Beach. Then I’ll be there too. Urge is an LGBTQ+ festival that provides a place to de-stress after the inevitable Turkey Day dinner table brawl.

If you feel the urge to relax this holiday weekend, head to South Beach for the ultimate LGBTQ+ festival and dance party.

Raul Griffith-Valentin: “Urge Miami Festival is a big music festival. We have DJs in our community, a lot of talent and entertainment from all over the world. People from all over the world come to the beach. I’m coming.”

Raoul Griffith-Valentin: “We were able to revamp it and bring it to the community as something fresh and new and something that people look forward to every year.”

That means four days of non-stop music and entertainment.

Raul Griffiths Valentin: “The most awaited event of the whole weekend is the beach party. There will be dancers, performers and giveaways. This year we have lots of surprises and a whole new stage.”

South Beach’s Royal Palm Hotel is all about good times and sunburns. Because this is the home of Urge Miami’s iconic pool party.

Raoul Griffith-Valentin: “Here at the Royal Palm is our host hotel, so it’s one of our favorite places for people to visit and you can just go downstairs and have an amazing, wonderful time.”

One of the DJs who will be making waves at Saturday’s event and dropping sickly beats is Eliad Cohen.

Eliad Cohen: “I’m going to bring all my good energy, all my new beats. I’m working on my first album, so I’m going to be playing songs here for the first time that I haven’t played yet, so I’m very excited. I can’t wait to celebrate with everyone here.”

Good vibes and great trends? Sign up. When in doubt, just dance!

Raul Griffith-Valentin: “Miami is definitely the place to visit this weekend, but more importantly Urji is the most important place to visit this weekend.”

The Urge Miami Festival begins Friday and runs through Monday.
